I’ve been an avid user of travel coffee mugs for a long time but sometimes a trvel mug isn’t as good as a true thermos. I like making a big pot of coffee and then savign it for later in the day. Sometimes I’m going on a long car ride, sometimes I’m going out on a hike or going camping. Back when I worked in cublicle-land I’d like to make coffee at home and take it to work. Yeah, I could drink it out of a travel mug but pouring it into a regular coffee cup just felt better.
The Thermos doesn’t have to be made by Thermos, there are plenty of brands that make great thermoses but if you want the best then you have to go with the brand behind the name. Thermos has an amazing container that can keep your coffee extremely hot for the entirety of a day and the thing does leak at all.
Their Stainless King line of Thermoses are beyond compare and they are hardly any mroe expensive than any other “good” thermos out there. If you are looking for a Thermos to hold your coffee before you get around to drinking it go ahead and check it out otherwise see any of the additional coffee thermoses I’ve called out below.
